Court records are down right now so we can't verify this hypothesis. As you can see from the dates in the images he didn't trod the straight and narrow path for more than a few months. You be the judge.

Suffice it to say, Solomon Chisholm was not a good person and certainly wasn't worthy of any heartfelt tributes considering the pain and anguish he inflicted on others - even if those others were families of the fellow thugs he murdered. Corderly apparently doesn't understand the concept of death as evidenced by his calling Chisholm a "living" legend.
