Let us introduce you to a Daleboi. "Lavelle Richardson" hails from Willis Street in the Russeldale neighborhood of North Charleston. He is currently a guest of the taxpayer at Kershaw Correctional, doing fifteen years for voluntary manslaughter.
Lavelle updates his status every few days. He also enjoys posting pictures of himself and his fellow inmates.
Richardson's adult criminal history is short, but violent. In 2006 he was charged with Armed Robbery. He was allowed to plead guilty to Strong Arm Robbery on 21 September, 2006. Richardson was sentenced by Judge Childs under the Youthful Offender Act to a sentence not to exceed four years. It looks like that four years was suspended on completion of ninety days of shock incarceration.
After being released from shock incarceration Richardson continued on his chose thuggish path. In April of 2007 Richardson was charged with Assault & Battery With Intent to Kill. This charge was dismissed in October of 2007 because the person he shot died.
Upon the death of his victim Richardson was charged with Murder. The 9th Circuit Solicitor and Judge Roger Young allowed him to plead guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter and he was sentenced to fifteen years in prison.
Richardson's projected release date is in 2020. At that time he will have served only twelve years of his fifteen year sentence. Any bleeding hearts out there who think this poor, deprived youth has learned the error of his ways need only view his Facebook page, updated with his contraband cell phone. If you can't follow the rules in prison how can we expect you to follow them on the street?
