An E-Mail We Received

To Whom it may concern,
Please take off the links of Andre Scotts Facebook page on your blog. A little boy is all over one of Andre Scott's pages and his innocents does not need to be revealed relating to this blog in anyway. Including the second picture of Andre Scott with his
facebook picture on the top right hand side. The little boy’s identity is all over that link and he does not need to be exposed to random people searching on http://www.google.com/. As a concerned individual for the child I am asking that you please take those
links and anything that may have any pictures of the little boy off of this blog. It is very important that you do this, because it violates the child’s right to his individual privacy.  Please, and thank you!
Sincerely,
Amber Nobles

We recently profiled Andre Scott who was arrested for rape in North Charleston.

We briefly considered whether Amber's request was justified. It didn't take long to come to the conclusion it wasn't. Links are just that, Amber - links. Anyone on the planet can find Andre's Facebook pages simply by typing his name in the search box. How do you think we found them?

We have to wonder why you allowed the child to be exposed to a career criminal like Andre. Apparently you didn't have a problem with having the child strike a thug pose while displaying a black bandanna, commonly associated with the Folk Nation street gang. We are pretty sure he didn't come up with that idea himself.

You will note we didn't deign to mention that issue in our profile of Andre, even though those photos bugged us. You have now brought that issue to the fore. We find it interesting you are worried about that child's perceived right to privacy now, yet you didn't have a care in the world when he was being groomed as a gangster and the evidence was being splashed all over the internet.

We could go after the EBT barbecue comments of your current beau, but we will let the issue drop for now.

  3. Wow Amber. Pretty ignorant. That boy's mother is the one who should be ashamed of herself for allowing her little boy to be exposed on the World Wide Web looking like a mini gangster thug! Facebook is not a private site. Anyone and everyone can easily see that the adults in this boy's life do not care if he grows up to be a worthless thug. This is how the cycle continues. Shame on you!

  4. Ms. Nobles it appears you are the boys mothers and Andre Scott is the father. Andre's profile picture is a photo of the boy (with the black bandana). The boy's photo and all of Andre's wall posts, including foul language, references to smoking blunts, etc. I was able to view all that without using Chas Thug Life links (URLs). It's also obvious that you and Andre are not on good terms, and you are in a relationship with Allday Allnite Fraiser Bwoy. You need address your concerns with Andre - he says loves you and would never hurt you!

  5. I like her favorite quotes:

"M.O.B, nigga! Money over boii's, nigga!" -ME

She needs to start at home. Worry about what she is teaching her own kid first.

  6. I'm at a loss as to why a child that age needs a Facebook page. That makes as much sense as reproducing with, and naming your child after, what appears to be a sexual predator. DELETE THE FACEBOOK PAGE. The child doesn't need it. It serves to show that the mother is a piece of trash.

  8. Amber - he's well on his way to being on this blog anyway. Just be happy he's only on Facebook right now.
Instead of requesting the links be removed, why don't you get involved and teach him right from wrong? Maybe then he won't follow in the footsteps of so many before him.

  9. To all:

I am apparently being misunderstood. I apologize if anyone got offended that I was concerned about the links and photos. I am well aware of the fact that Facebook is an extremely popular social network and anyone is able to search by a persons name and may access an individual’s page. I was concerned because the blog is about Andre Scott and his wrongful actions towards another human being, therefore his son’s photo on the page and the links shows light on someone who has nothing to do with the incident even more so than if the links were never there. I privately e-mailed the e-mail address on this blog and politely asked that the links be taken down, nothing more, nothing less. I was in no way trying to justify Andre or his actions. My concerns were with the person mentioned in the e-mail. I myself do not understand the reason for the insults and misconceptions about myself and who I have relationships with, as well as any other statements made about me from a person solely digging up information by Facebook. As for the statement made about the black bandana….if wearing a bandana is so “ignorant” then why do they sell them in our local Wal-marts or other department stores? Again I am not justifying this situation; I myself did not post or take the picture or had any knowledge of it until I saw it on Facebook.

“We have to wonder why you allowed the child to be exposed to a career criminal like Andre. Not to be disrespectful but you have no idea what the child has or has not been exposed to or the situation between any of the people you are listing. That sort of information you can’t Google unless a person decides to display their private endeavors. Therefore, I am certain you have no idea about that situation or any understanding of what the child is or is not exposed to. I literally was only trying to do what I believed was the appropriate action to take as a mother in requesting you simply take the links off. When I saw the blog and the picture my heart sank to the floor. Again, I apologize for anything that I may have said to be offensive. I am only human and rarely ever perfect. I have made poor decisions before and I always try my very hardest to be the best parent I can be. So anything else anyone would like to blog about me instead of blog about what the actual blog is about…then you are entitled to your own opinion. Whether Negative or positive feedback and opinions are made they are always appreciated and considered so that they may help with any future decision making in the best interest of my family. Therefore the simple request I made has been mentioned and addressed so I will leave this alone and let you get back to blogging about the real reason why you created the blog.

  10. Small world. Me and Amber have a mutual friend!

  11. Amber,

We did not publish the name of anyone other than Andre. We knew the name of the child you are concerned about, but it wasn't germane to the situation at hand. Thus, searching the child's name will not point to CTL. You should probably kick the hell out of Andre (and yourself if you were present) for forcing the kid to pose like a gangsta with a black flag draped over his shoulder.

  12. Amber,
You are seriously digging yourself and your extremely poor parenting decisions even deeper. You want some sincere advice? Instead of asking this blog to appropriately parent your child, why don't you force the sexual predator to remove pics of your child from his fb page? And do you really expect us to buy your explanation for the 'innocent' black bandana? None of us are that stupid, and I have to believe that even you know that that was a lame attempt on your part to dismiss the symbol your son displays in the picture. Get your son away from criminal elements now while you still have an influence. Society will remember where it all started if we see your child in the news for all the wrong reasons in a few years. Break the cycle now or live the rest of your life knowing that you created another worthless piece of humanity. Your son deserves better.

  13. Ms. Nobles, I doubt any of us were offended by your request to remove CTL links to Andre's FB page and can understand that as the child's mother you were taking what action you thought was appropriate to protect your son. What's disturbing is Andre's use of your son's photo, your son possibly being exposed to his criminal father, and you acting as though CTL is part of the problem.
