It seems the annual summer thug war down in Beaufort County is heating up. A reader informs us the two factions consist of a group from St. Helena Island who go by the name M.O.B. and a group who isn't from the island, known as M.O.E.
Here is a link to an article from the Island Packet about a thug named Kalib Colil Dent getting shot over the weekend. Of course, no one saw anything.
Here are some screen caps from the Facebook page of "Kalib Dent". The first is a photo posted Sunday of him soaking the taxpayer for his medical bills at MUSC while throwing up his gang signs and stating "MOB till I die".
Kalib has one adult arrest in Beaufort County for Possession of Marijuana. He failed to show up for court and was tried in his absence by Judge Fitzgibbons. He was sentenced to pay a fine of serve thirty days in jail.
Man, couldn't they at least shoot better?? If they would take each other completely out it would save the tax payers a ton of money.--We wouldn't have to foot the bill for their hospital bills and years of jail time.

I just wonder if they ever feel stupid doing those arthritic gang signs. I guess in about 10-15 yrs the tax payers will be footing the bill for carpal tunnel surgery for the thugs that manage to make it.
ReplyDeleteThe black community really needs to take a long hard look at their next generation. We will see a change here in the US in the coming years that will eventually get rid of all the handouts and welfare bullshit. Once drugs are legalized it will remove the ability for these thugs to make a living off of the drug trade and they will resort to more violent measures to get their "stacks". That's when the shit will surely hit the fan. Normal contributing citizens will arm themselves and do what they need to do to protect their families and homes. It's coming. The violence is already out of control within the black community and if it really starts to spill outside of their neighborhoods is when you'll start to see a backlash from normal people like you and me.

When I see this thug laying up in MUSC shooting those ridiculous thug signs... sucking off the system.. my head almost explodes. There are ppl who need life saving/changing operations - who cannot afford to do so..I know, because I am one of those people!! I've been waiting for almost 3 years to go to MUSC, because they have an awesome unit for my condition, but I cannot go because I simply cannot afford to do so. And here he is, at MUSC. yes, it has pissed me off today to NO end. Can someone please come shoot me in my leg so I can go to MUSC and get the help I need, before I die again!

In case you never learned this, even in a free society you are not allowed to 'live your life the way you want to live it' when that involves breaking the law. You can't shoot people, steal from people, or deal with illegal drugs unless you enjoy living your life in a cage. Most of us understand that. Unfortunately the majority of these gang thugs try to make a 'life' out of 'making money' by doing every illegal thing that they think they can get away with. And as your buddy, Kalib, found out--that lifestyle will often get you shot. Has that made him rethink his thug ways? Apparently not, because here he is in a hospital bed still throwing his childish gang signs.
I don't know his mother, but I hope she tried her best to raise him right. Whatever she did failed. That probably brings her a lot of heart ache. That's not disrespectful--it's just factual.

Still in H.S.??) it is the parent's job to keep close enough tabs on him to make sure he isn't getting into trouble. Even a 'tiny amount of weed' is against the law. And that was the time he got caught...who knows what else he had or was doing when he didn't get caught.(Google his twitter and I think you'll agree that he hasn't been a good little school boy for quite a while.) @Emily - His criminal record is above. He did break the law when he was caught with weed..As far as I know, having, selling, smoking or growing weed is still illegal in the state of SC... then he committed another crime by failing to appear in court for that charge. There is 2 crimes he committed. And before you get angry - I am just stating facts... as for his weed charge - I have, and always be for the legalization of marijuana. I believe the medicinal purposes outweigh the cons.

You are the one who allowed random people to see your personal information. Kalib's bday, according to his rap sheet, is 4/18/93- which makes him 19. Do the math. (hint: this is 2012) I'm pleased to know that he has read the advice posted here. Hopefully he will take it to heart and turn his life around before it's too late. He controls his destiny. He can become a respected, productive member of society by staying out of trouble, getting an education, and putting in an honest days work. Or he can continue his thug/gang ways and spend more time in the hospital, prison, or in the ground. Think about it...how many old gang members are still alive unless they're being stored in a cage?
