Demetric Montricus Cowan - 00299119 - McCormick Correctional

Meet Demetric Montricus Cowan. He uses the name "Montecus Cowan" on Thugbook when he is posting to his account via his contraband cell phone from behind the wall of McCormick Correctional Institution. He has been posting to his Thugbook account since March of 2011. He has been doing time since 2004 on an armed robbery conviction from Anderson County.

Cowan gives us some insight into how prisoners manage to get away with things like possessing cell phones and smoking weed behind bars.

Readers should feel free to bring this post to the attention of the institution.

Antuane Jamal Means

CPD has arrested Antuane Jamal Means for an incident downtown in which someone was shot in the face. His Thugbook name "Antuane Lil'WoodydatProjectboi Mean (Lil'Woody)". Let's check out some of his stuff. His arrest record is at the bottom.

Does anyone think Boeing was actually stupid enough to hire him?

Some homies posting on his page.

Back in 2010 Antuane was charged with multiple drug offenses. He must have done a fine job of charming Scarlett Wilson and her crew because they cut him a really sweet deal.

He was charged with two counts of PWID Crack, PWID Marijuana, Distribution of Drugs Near a School and Distribution of Crack Near a School.

The 9th Circuit Solicitor let him plead guilty to one count of PWID Crack and dismissed ALL the other charges. Judge Thomas Hughston sentenced him on 20 September, 2011 to a YOA sentence not to exceed one to six years. We don't believe he actually did any prison time.

Domenic "Cocainecowboy" Hartwell & Rashaun Dawson

"Domenic Cocainecowboy Hartwell", a self-professed (and now convicted) drug dealer from the Dorchester Waylyn neighborhood of North Charleston, has issued a pathetic plea to God to keep him out of jail. His full name is Domenic Lamar Hartwell and he resides at 2653 Ranger Drive.

Looks like God, the prosecutors and the judges cut him a break.

2010 Charges:

Armed Robbery - Dismissed at preliminary hearing by Judge Gosnell.

2012 Charges:

Possession of a Stolen Pistol - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor

Hartwell went to court yesterday on a charge of 2nd Offense Possession of Marijuana. Judge Deadra Jefferson sentenced him to one year, suspended in favor of one year of probation.

Hartwell then bitches about catching a break and calls Judge Jefferson a cracker. That's gratitude, isn't it?

He put this up within hours of being sentenced to probation.

Judge Jefferson must not have viewed Hartwell's Thugbook page.

This photo was posted on 18 July, less than a month after he was busted for his 2nd offense marijuana charge. He wasn't too worried about God helping him out then.

Hartwell also claimes to be a member of the Bloods street gang.

Who do you think he's voting for?

Hartwell seems to have a beef with a fellow trapper, who he is accusing of being a snitch. They are threatening to put each other down. We can only hope.

"Shaun Off Range" is nineteen year old Rashaun A.L. Dawson of 4728 Glenn Street in the Glynn Terrace subdivision of North Charleston. The picture below looks more like the Waylyn or Dorchester Terrace neighborhoods.

He posted this the same Saturday night there was a big brawl and a stabbing at the Coastal Carolina Fair.

He talks a lot about shooting people.

He also likes to post pictures of his firearms taken while he's riding around in the car with them. Wouldn't take much for an enterprising police officer to watch him drive away from Glenn Street and find a reason to stop him and poke around his car.

Here we see one gun.

Here we see two guns.

He's right. There is a population in this state which is extremely racist. And he's a part of it.

Rashaun gets on the other trappers for spending too much time on Thugbook. After reading his frequent posts we wonder why he doesn't take his own advice.

Rashaun is out on a ridiculously low bond for a variety of charges. The bond was set by Judge McDonald who has just entered the running for the title of Worst Bond Judge Ever.

In February of 2012 Dawson was charged by NCPD with 1st Degree Burglary, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm. These charges are consistent with those usually lodged in home invasion cases.

Judge McDonald set a $5,000 bond on the burglary charge and bonds of ZERO dollars on the other charges. According to the judge all of these charges are only worth a $5,000 bond. In light of the firearm charges we wonder if Judge McDonald bothered to put in a prohibition against carrying firearms as a condition of Dawson's bond. Nah, the judge probably wasn't smart enough to think of that.

Does that make anyone, police or civilian, think differently of those photos of Dawson driving around the city with guns in his lap?
