Jalann Williams

"Jalann Williams" is one of two thugs charged with helping Akeem Ladson to assume a fairly well pronounced Dead Right There status during a drug deal. We have seen Ladson's first name published as Akeem, Akeen, and Akee. Take your pick.

Williams appears to have a few charges pending and even mentions them on his Thugbook page. He is twenty-two years old and uses 7247 Stall Road, Lot 32 as his address.

Jalann talks about receiving the evidence against him requested by his attorney in a discovery (rule 5) motion.

Williams Charleston County criminal history will get your ire up.

 2009 Charges:

Unlawful Possession of a Pistol by a Minor - Pled guilty before Judge Thomas Hughston. Sentenced to sixy-one days.

2nd Degree Burglary - Pled guilty. Judge Hughston handed down his usual YOA sentence of not to exceed six years, suspended in favor of two years of probation.

2011 Charges *Pending*:

February

1st Degree Burglary - Free on a $100,000 bond.
Attempted Murder - File says free on $0 bond.

June:

1st Degree Burglary
Attempted Murder

No bond info is listed for either charge.

2012 Charges *Pending*:

Possession of Cocaine - $10,000 bond.
Two counts of PWID Marijuana - $5,000 bond each.
Two counts of PWID Near a School - $10,000 bond each.

So, Williams was out on a total of $140,000 in bonds for previous offenses still pending when he killed Ladons. There was no effort to revoke ANY of his bonds whenever he was arrested on new charges.

Isn't it nice to see your bond judges and the 9th Circuit Solicitor trying to step up and do something about repeat offenders? Oh wait, they aren't doing that. Our bad.

  1. Mmmc - more money more conflict??? Oh & question about that rule 5, when they get the evidence, do they also see statements & names of people that have "snitched" on them? I've always wondered how some of these guys end up having photos of statements & names of the snitch ...
